Onya Kaede Hotel - Kyoto

The room we had included central heating, flat-screen television, and a study table. Location: the hotel was just next door to convenience stores and restaurants and Nijo Station. It also was in the middle of the city.

my room was clean, had down pillows. there were facilities such as central heating, a work desk, and a tv. location: the hotel was close enough to nijo castle, convenience stores and nijo station. helpful and kind staff created a quiet atmosphere.

We got a room with a bidet

I stayed here 4 nights and truly enjoyed it. the twin/double room featured a lovely view of the street, along with central heating, a work desk, and a multi-channel television, which were just what I needed. the hotel is conveniently located near convenience stores and restaurants, as well as Nijo Station.

The hotel's location was great, with many convenience stores, restaurants, and attractions nearby. the room's traditional tatami and futon contributed to a unique experience. the hotel's cleanliness was impressive, with a new and clean toilet.

The noise level was high due to thin walls and guests not adhering to the non-smoking rule, leading to cigarette smoke in the middle of the night.

Liked the cleanliness and convenience of the hotel. The location was perfect for our new year's celebrations, being in walking distance to many stores and attractions. The coffee machine in the shared kitchen was a nice touch and offered some extra comfort during our stay.

Disliked the lack of soundproofing in the rooms and the uncomfortable futon bedding. We often heard other guests talking loudly in their rooms and the shower water pressure was too high and difficult to adjust.

I loved the location of this hotel, it was so close to everything I needed. Nijo Station and Nijo Castle were just a short walk away, and there were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Plus, the hotel facilities were great, there was a washing machine in the laundry room that worked really well, and the shared kitchen was so convenient. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the room and how comfortable the traditional tatami and futon were.

Everything was fantastic, I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great, in close proximity to public transportation and convenience stores. the washing machine worked well, which was a relief for my family during our Easter holiday.

The traditional tatami and futon bedding was extremely uncomfortable, leaving us with back pain. the shower water had inconsistent temperatures and the pressure was too high.

Great location, simplicity of room, easy access to kitchen and laundry, cleanliness, wifi.

Nothing to fault.
